Material Concepts
Interwoven
The materials of Mythopoetic are composed of diverse material strips and they combine colours in a subtle or more playful way. Playing with rhythms and with openness, they reveal what can be seen and cover what should remain private. Structure and the interplay of lines are fundamental elements. Graphic depth is created by the overlapping lines and threads; these flowing patterns of lines blur in colour when viewed from some distance.

Draping and Pleating
The materials of Mythopoetic are voluminous, with a play of loose textile threads, draping and pleating fabrics. The volume creates a sense of drama, with a play of movement and shadows. The materials have playful connotations, inviting the user to change the form as they wish. Fabrics seem to open up the possibility of revealing hidden worlds with a sense of theatre. The curtain blurs the distinction between worlds and that disorienting blur makes us wonder where we are.

Refined
The materials of Mythopoetic are refined and calm; they are characterised by a subtle fine weave, a sparkle or a soft shine. The materials change in response to the altering light and reflections as well as the shifting vantage point of the viewer, who feels invited to play with their reflective features. The materials may seem quiet, but things are not always as they appear. These poetic and elegant materials leave room for interpretation and reflection.

Explorative Metallics
The materials are metallic with an irregular and organic structure; they are not cold and smooth but imperfect and irregular and thus have a warmth to them. They invite you to make a connection, to touch and discover them. The materials reveal a poetic approach, with visible marks of irregular finishes and material mixes. These subtle metallics catch the light in a textured way, giving a distorted and magical effect.
