Light Tones

Is neutrality possible?

The 2027 colour palette reflects a shift from the coloured soft neutrals. The light tones are more pragmatic, white and beige tones,  a sign of a different approach to neutrality. This suggests a move toward clarity and restraint where colour is used with greater intention.

Colour shifts 2026-2027

Warmth

Balanced warmth

For the 2027 palette, the warm colours are expanded towards the brown tones. A bright sunny yellow starts the range. The soft pink and a greyish lilac are cooler while the orange and red are full and warm. These shades create a dynamic balance, where earthy depth meets luminous vibrancy.

Green to Kakhi

Calming yet active

The greens show a clear shift towards the green-blue tones. A range of four creates a calming but active range, balancing fluidity with groundedness. This captures a sense of renewal, where organic and synthetic influences merge.

Blues and Purple

Creating complex depth

The lilacs and purples make way for a palette where blues appear clear and refined, paired with grounding grey tones. The range of darks moves fluidly between blues, greys, and browns, creating depth without heaviness. This interplay suggests a more complex approach to darkness, one that is open to interpretation.
