Beyond the Horizon

Redefining Power

The palette of Beyond the Horizon is both traditional and conservative. The colours are used as a way to protest and rebel against the old world order. The white and tan colour are classic and worn to dress up, to make a statement. The red is an accent used with the neutrals and the blue for sporty effect.

The darker colours are the colours of suits, worn to work. The office and its culture has become a symbol of power. People are signalling the symbols of power in a freer, new way. The colours empower the wearer and signal self-care and a desire to learn, be curious and participate in the community.

The late eighties are an inspiration for office culture interiors and dark intimate homes and boutiques. The spaces are made for people to meet, work and entertain. The colours of the Beyond the Horizon function as a code for power, history and democracy.
