The palette of The Power of One is natural and technical simultaneously. The signs of life may be non-human, the visualisation of AI thinking or initiating action. The greys give stability to the palette while the light green and blue add fresh perspectives and energy. The mid greens are two tones that symbolize the different stages of autonomy and trust. They also refere to the colour of money.

The speed of change is rapid and the tonal shifts in the colours symbolize this. From light to dark and into the unknown. The complexities of AI’s impact on society requires calm colours that are friendly and familiar. The colours collectively represent the various stages of AI’s impact, but they are unified by the all encompassing power of AI, a single entity. 

When the colours are being used they are not perfect. They work best when there is an element of distortion, an effect of irregularity that creates a tension. This is what brings the colours to life. It symbolizes the collaboration of man and technology where human ingenuity and creativity augmented by AI create new expressions and innovative ideas.
